Letter to Participants

 ​The PTA has been fielding questions regarding the BINGO event that was unfortunately postponed due to the state mandated public safety requirements.
A new plan has been formulated that will hopefully work for the majority. As of Friday, April 17th all ticket purchasers should have received an email via Eventbrite with their options. The Eventbrite email was sent to the original ticket purchaser. It will be up to our event goers to contact the original purchaser about their options as we move forward with the new format for this event. All refunds
need to be requested by Friday, April 24th.


We would like you to keep in mind that this event was originally planned to help cover the lack of funds raised for the Fall 5K and financially aid the PTA’s efforts to support the students of
Fountain Green Elementary. Even though we are now going in a different direction with this fundraiser, the goal is still the same. All ticket sales that were not refunded and any new sales we make will go back to our students!

On Monday, May 11th we will hold a virtual drawing for our BINGO basket prizes as well as a separate drawing for our special raffle prizes. This drawing will be aired via Facebook Live for
anyone who wishes to watch along. But the best part of this reinvention of the event is that you DO NOT need to be present online or have Facebook to win AND we will be doing no-contact
drop offs (within 30 miles of 21015) of all prizes.
(If you are lucky enough to win but live more than 30 miles from 21015, please designate an alternative drop off recipient.) Also, we are
asking the original ticket purchaser to provide the names of each person they purchased tickets for. This will help us make sure that everyone who purchased a ticket will be entered into our
raffle correctly.

FAQs

How can you enter the raffle? IF you purchased a ticket for the April event and do not request a refund by Friday, April 24th, OR you purchase a new ticket on Eventbrite, your name will be entered into this massive virtual drawing to win 1 (or more) of our 20 BINGO baskets. 20 chances to win--just as if you were to be attending BINGO in person!

As for the raffle prizes, just like the BINGO prize baskets, a regular raffle ticket purchase will allow you the opportunity to win multiple times. Chances to win our deluxe raffles (valued at
over $200) will also be available. Both regular and deluxe raffles are up for sale on the Eventbrite page. If you wish to purchase additional BINGO or raffle prize entries we ask that you do so by May 8th.

If you already purchased tickets:

If you purchased a ticket for the event that was scheduled in April, we have a couple of options:

1.       You may keep your ‘ticket’ and have your name entered into our massive drawing to win 1 (or more) of the 20 BINGO game baskets. Twenty chances to win all within the comfort of your own home! If you purchased a ticket for more then just yourself, please respond to us the names of all the people so they have their chances to win too!

2.       If you purchased a ticket for the original event and DO NOT want a chance at winning one of the 20 BINGO prize baskets, we are offering refunds. We ask that you request your refund no later than FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2020.

II    If you purchased a ticket for multiple people and some would like a refund and others would like to play, please have your entire purchase refunded and then individuals can rebuy their tickets on their own. There are NO partial refunds given.
