5k Fun Run/Walk

Here are the details for tomorrow's event:
Location: Jerusalem Mill , 2813 Jerusalem Rd., Kingsville MD 21087
Registration begins at 8:00am
Warm Ups & Stretching Provided by Love Evolution Studios at 8:30am
Line Up and Welcome at 8:50am
Walk/Run begins at 9:00am
Medic Services provided by Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company will be onsite to ensure our safety during this event.
There are multiple overflow parking areas, you will be directed when you arrive.
There are port-o-potties available.
Please be courteous to our generous host, Jerusalem Mill, and throw all trash away in the bins provided.
**** PLEASE BRING A WATER BOTTLE FOR EACH PARTICIPANT***** we will have refill stations available.
Registration:
- During registration time you can register to participate (if you have not done so already) donate, and receive your shirt.
- you can drop off your sponsorship envelope and pick up your shirt(s)
- you can purchase additional t-shirts ($10), as well as FGES water bottles ($4)

Walkers, please stay toward the back. A quick Welcome and any other announcements will be made by the PTA at this time.
The Walk/Run
To reach the total 5k distance, you would take two laps of the above route (marked in yellow). The actual route is mowed and graveled. This is a family friendly event. You can run/walk at your own pace. This is your event - run or walk at your own pace! Stroll with your family and friends and enjoy the scenery, or challenge your group and compete for the best time!
Virtual Race
If you are unable to attend this event, you can do your 5k anywhere, anytime and if you'd like, post your stats on our website!

The PTA has organized a Fall 5k Walk/Run Fundraiser to be held on Saturday, November 16th at Jerusalem Mill Village. Any student who receives ANY level of sponsorship donations will be able to participate in this fun fall event! This fundraiser directly benefits your child(ren) and Fountain Green Elementary School with financial support for things such as: Offsetting Field Trip costs, Technology in the Classroom, Awards & Assemblies, Teacher Appreciation & Other Needs. (ie – We just assisted with the CPR certification cost for 10 staff members).

- Each student who participates in the Walk/Run can have one adult companion to participate with the student. Jerusalem Mill will also have its historic buildings open for you to walk through, visit and enjoy!
- Sponsorships can be collected in cash/check via the Donation Envelope, or online
- Additional Family & Friends can register to participate with their student in the Walk/Run with a $25 donation. This includes a T-Shirt.
- You can also participate in this Walk/Run Virtually! What does that mean? If you can’t be there on the 26th, you can do your 5k anywhere! Walk your dogs around the neighborhood, run the treadmill, walk around the mall or your favorite trail and record your time on our website! (The Virtual 5k Page will be available as we get closer to the date)
- Sponsorship Donation Envelopes are due by Wednesday, November 13th
- Online Sponsorships submission deadline is Friday, November 15th at midnight
